The Employee View in Evolia allows you to create and manage shifts intuitively by displaying the schedule by employee. This feature is ideal for efficiently organizing shifts by teams, positions, and locations.
In this article, we will explain step by step how to create a shift using this view.
Steps to create a shift in Employee View:
- Open the Evolia Web Console
- Click on Schedule
- Select Employee View
- Click in the box corresponding to the desired day column and the employee's row
- Click on Start Time
- Select the start time of the shift
- Click on End Time
- Select the end time of the shift
- Choose if the shift should repeat

Set the repetition frequency of the shift in the During dropdown menu
- Click on the Team dropdown menu and select the Team of your choice
- Click on the Position dropdown menu
- Select the position of your choice
- Click on the Location dropdown menu
- Select the location of your choice
Additional options:
- Add an unpaid break or paid breaks if necessary
- Add new tasks or edit existing tasks related to this position, if needed
- Click on Advanced Settings if necessary
- Click on Publish
- Open the Evolia Web Console
- Click on Schedule
- Select Employee View
- Click on the "+" icon located to the right of the schedule
- Select Create an assigned shift or Create an open shift and invite your employees, depending on the type of shift you want to create.
- Click on Start Time
- Select the start time of the shift
- Click on End Time
- Select the end time of the shift
- Choose if the shift should repeat
