Evolia’s advanced shift settings give you greater control over the conditions and requirements of a work shift. These options let you assign shift premiums, manage on-call shifts, define tolerances, and add notes for staff or internal use. Here’s how to configure these settings from the web console.
-
Go to the Evolia web console.
-
Click on Schedule.
-
Select the shift of your choice.
-
Click the pencil icon to edit the shift.
-
Scroll to the bottom of the panel and click the Advanced parameters dropdown menu.
-
Enable the Variable End Time option to hide the shift’s end time from employees. (When active, employees won’t see the end time, but you must still provide an approximate end time for display purposes.)
-
Enable the Shift is on call option to indicate that selected employees must remain available to work.
-
Enter a Confirmation delay. If the shift is not confirmed by a manager within this timeframe, it will be cancelled.
-
Add a Note for your employees.
-
Add an Internal Note, visible only to managers, supervisors, and administrators.
-
Open the Shift Premiums dropdown and select the bonus(es) to apply to the shift.
-
Select the shift time zone if it differs from your company’s default time zone set in your company settings.
-
Set a paid preparation time, tolerance before and after the shift, and a minimum score for the shift if applicable.
-
Click Save to apply your changes.
