Once an employee has been laid off, you may not want them to appear in your regular employee list anymore.
You can deactivate the employee, ensuring they are no longer invited to take shifts, recommended for shifts, or displayed in your Evolia account. A deactivated employee can be reactivated if needed, such as in the case of seasonal employees.
It is also possible to fully archive an employee after deactivating them. An archived employee cannot be reactivated later.
Note that in both cases, the employee’s past schedule and timesheet data will remain accessible in your Evolia account.
To Deactivate an Employee:
- Open the Evolia Web Console.
- Select the Employees tab.
- Search for or navigate to the employee.
- Click on the ... menu.
- Select Deactivate.
- Choose the reason for deactivating the employee.
- Click Confirm.
- Select the action to take on the employee’s active shifts.
To Archive an Employee:
- Go to the Inactive Employees tab.
- Click on the ... menu.
- Select Archive.
- Click Confirm.
