Adding a statutory holiday in Evolia ensures your employees are properly credited and scheduled during public holidays.
Whether you're doing it from the Requests section, directly within the Schedule tab or from the "Holidays management" menu from the settings, the process is simple. Follow the steps below to configure and apply a statutory holiday to your team.
How to Add a Statutory Holiday

Go to console.evolia.com

Navigate to the Requests section.

Click on the Leave icon (with the umbrella symbol)

Enter a name for the statutory holiday.

Click on the Leave type field.

Select the appropriate leave type.
⚠️ Make sure the “Statutory holiday” leave type has already been created in your leave types.

Select the Date for the holiday.

Click on the Calculation type field.

Choose between:

Fixed number of hours
-
Based on hours worked in previous days/weeks
💡 If you choose Based on hours worked, make sure to properly configure the related parameters.

If you want to cancel shifts or make employees unavailable for that holiday, click on the corresponding option.

Once everything is set up, click Next.
- Select the Employment Statuses, Teams, Positions, Locations and Employees to whom the statutory holiday applies and click Next

Confirm the list of selected employees and click Save.
Alternative Method: Add a Holiday from the Schedule Tab
You can also add a statutory holiday directly from the Schedule tab:

Click on the Schedule tab.

Click on Leaves, represented by the parasol icon.
- Click on Add a statutory holiday
